Yojra (yojra.com) - Education Payments

Last Updated: 25.08.2026

Yojra ("Yojra", "we", "us", or "our"), operated by Elevor Technologies Private Limited, facilitates credit card and other permitted payment-method transactions for education fee payments. This Cancellation and Refund Policy sets out the circumstances in which cancellations and refunds may be requested for transactions made through our Education Payment Services.

1. Scope

This Policy applies exclusively to transactions initiated through Yojra Education Payment Services, including tuition fees, examination fees, admission fees, hostel fees, and other approved educational expenses.

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1. Eligibility for Cancellation

Cancellations may only be requested where a transaction has failed or has not yet been successfully completed or settled. A transaction may fail due to payment gateway issues, technical errors, insufficient funds or credit availability, incorrect beneficiary details, security checks, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Once a transaction has been successfully completed and the payment has been processed and settled to the educational beneficiary's account, cancellation will not be accepted by Yojra.

2.2. Requesting a Cancellation

Cancellations for failed or pending transactions should be reported to Yojra customer support as soon as possible using the contact details provided below. Requests will be subject to transaction-status verification.

2.3. Payment Gateway Charges

Where a transaction fails or is cancelled, payment gateway charges, processing charges, convenience fees, and applicable taxes that have already been incurred may not be refundable. Any refund will be limited to the amount eligible for refund after reconciliation.

2.4. No Cancellations for Successful Transactions

No cancellation is available for a successfully completed education payment. Once funds have been settled to the educational beneficiary, any refund or adjustment request must be made directly with the tutor, coaching centre, educational institution, or other beneficiary, as applicable.

3. Refund Policy

3.1. Eligibility for Refund

Refunds will be initiated by Yojra only where the transaction is confirmed to have failed and the corresponding funds have been received or remain available for refund through the payment processing chain. This may include technical errors, payment gateway issues, or security or fraud checks that prevent successful completion.

Where a refund is approved, it will generally be processed to the same payment method used for the original transaction, subject to payment-network and banking requirements.

3.2. Exclusion of Payment Gateway Charges

Refunds may exclude payment gateway charges, processing fees, convenience fees, and applicable taxes that have already been incurred and are non-refundable.

3.3. Processing of Refunds

Once a failed transaction has been verified and a refund is approved, Yojra will initiate the refund within a reasonable processing period. The time taken for the refund to reflect may depend on the payment gateway, card issuer, bank, card network, or other payment provider. Typically, refunds may take 7-14 business days to reflect.

3.4. No Refunds for Successful Transactions

Once an education payment has been successfully completed and funds have been credited to the educational beneficiary, Yojra will not process a refund. Any refund arrangement must be made directly between the payer and the educational beneficiary.

4. Special Considerations for Education Payments

  • Duplicate Payments: If you accidentally make a duplicate payment for the same fee, you must contact the educational beneficiary directly to request a refund or adjustment. Yojra will not reverse a successfully settled duplicate payment.
  • Incorrect Amount: If you pay an incorrect amount, including an overpayment, you must seek a refund or adjustment from the educational beneficiary. Yojra cannot reverse a successfully settled payment.
  • Wrong Beneficiary: If incorrect beneficiary details are entered, Yojra may attempt to assist in recovering the funds, but cannot guarantee recovery. Cancellation is possible only where the transaction has not yet been successfully settled.

5. How to Request Cancellation or Refund

5.1. Cancellation Request for Failed Transactions Only

Contact Yojra customer support immediately at +91 73143 44721. You should provide the transaction or reference number, transaction date, amount, and other information reasonably required to verify the transaction.

5.2. Refund Processing

For confirmed failed transactions, Yojra will process an eligible refund after verification and reconciliation. No refund will be processed for successfully settled transactions unless required by applicable law or an applicable third-party payment or beneficiary process.

6. Force Majeure

Yojra will not be responsible for delays or failures in processing cancellations or refunds caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, network failures, banking-system outages, payment-network disruptions, government actions, or failures of third-party service providers.

7. Amendments to the Policy

Yojra reserves the right to amend or update this Cancellation and Refund Policy. Changes will be published on the platform or communicated through appropriate channels and will become effective upon publication unless otherwise specified.
